Maxine J Horn, CEO
Maxine initiated Creative Barcode and hand-picked the co-creation team in 2009 which led to its launch in September 2010. In 2012 she re-launched http://www.innovationbank.co.uk - a safe trading portal for collaborative innovation, co-creation and the buying, selling and licensing of innovation concepts and IP. It operates under Creative Barcode Trust Charter rules.
Maxine has over 20 years’ experience in the design, innovation and knowledge transfer sectors of the creative industries. Between 2006 to 2011 she was a member of the UKIPO B2B Strategy Group and since its launch in Nov 2011 she has been actively involved in the IP Intellectual Property Review headed up by Ian Hargreaves and latterly Richard Hooper.
Maxine is a pioneer of Open Innovation and an acknowledged opinion-former and author. She founded and ran British Design Innovation (BDI), the trade association for designers and innovators from 1993 to January 2011 and launched the University Design Industry Partnership Scheme (UDIPS) in June 2010. She was a runner-up in the First Women Awards 2010 for business pioneers.
Julian Wilkins LLB (Hons) in law and M.Phil Creative Industries Legal Advisor
Julian is a consultant solicitor to Devereaux Solicitors in London, and he practices in the areas of media and entertainment law as well Intellectual Property law and holds directorships and shareholdings in media production companies.
Julian was admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and is also a qualified Notary Public and trained commercial mediator. Julian has a LLB (Hons) in law and M.Phil in law as well as a Diploma in European Law.
He is a member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law; Julian has a good working relationship with the World Intellectual Property Organisation(WIPO).
Julian has written for academic journals, as well as other publications. He is a keen and renowned script writer and often works in collaboration with established writers. Julian was a finalist in the 2011 Media Lunch Club 'Short Circuit" script competition.

An entrepreneurial award-winning designer with over 25 years’ experience, Richard’s body of work includes projects across a diverse range of sectors, from public, blue chip corporate, film and media, to the arts. Richard is a board director of the International Society of Typographic Designers, and an RSA Fellow.
Nathanael Marsh, Application Development Director
Nat is a director of Advanced Media Associates and an award-winning designer of user interfaces, applications and service design. Trained in film production, graphic and multimedia design, Nat's core strength is taking raw information and translating it into easily understood and visually exciting formats, applying this underlying principle to video, web design, CD-Rom design or application development.
